o 10-JAN-08 | ID SOFTWARE Well as some people know by now, I started working as a Level Designer at id Software. I feel very fortunate and happy to be here. Most likely I won't have the time for community maps anymore, but keep an eye open for some of my work in future id games.
Recently, the map that I submitted as a 10 day design test for id was revised to give it a mossy look. You can see more screenshots and download the level here.
I have recently figured out how to make a realistic painted surface on non painted surfaces such as wood, metal and concrete. Read it here. Here is a preview of what the tutorial covers:

Several people asked me to write a tutorial covering how I made the textures for Method's Hideout project. You can read the tutorial here.
Currently, I'm working on a project, entitled Method's Hideout to create realistic urban/industrial texture set for Doom 3/Quake 4.
